Romans 1:9-10

"For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers, making request if, by some means, now at last I may find a way in the will of God to come to you."

1) What does it mean to "serve...in the gospel of His Son"? Serve for, serve because of...those make sense. But what about serving in?
2) Who is the focus of my prayers?

I'd like to say the WHO for me is God, but often the WHO I'm praying for is me. Not that it's totally bad, but definitely don't want to be the only focus.

It was amazing to me how focused Paul was on the Romans. That went along nicely with what stood out to me at small group this week--how much do I focus on others lovingly and unselfishly for God's glory.
